mom meet dad in the early 40s
they were so in love they use to meet
in the park so doris mom and dad did not
know about them for a long time .
where they meet in park dad crave their
names on a tree and as far as i know
this tree still there to day .
mom and dad had seven children
four boys and three girls who will
never forget their mother.
she was the sweet woman
you could ever meet
we all had a lot of happy days
with her but dad was number one
she never got over the lose of
james she seem to go down hill
when she lose him i only hope and
pray she found him in the after
life and that they are happy.
rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside
a garden wall,
And as the days passed
swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...
One day, a beam of light
shone through
a crevice that had
opened wide ~
The rose bent gently
toward its warmth
then passed beyond
to the other side
Now, you who deeply
feel its loss,
be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~
its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by
God's own loving care.
